The pistol is cocked and loaded through a positive and easy-to-use bolt action system, with pellets loaded directly into the rifled steel barrel. This makes the Crosman 2240 a quick and easy pistol to reload - excellent for when that follow-up shot can make all the difference.CO2 Power
Using a 12g CO2 capsule as the propellant, up to 50 shots can be achieved per capsule. Each capsule is loaded into the chamber below the barrel and tightened up with the cap to pierce the end and release the CO2. This is a simple and low-maintenance air pistol.Trigger
